Audio
Wrath of the Lich King Trailer
Likely my greatest piece of sound work yet: this was my final assessment for my Sound Design class, in which we were given a choice between three supplied videos, and had to completely remake the audio for the clip from the ground up. All but the music was made/edited myself utilising Foley, Sound Libraries (like Epidemic Sound and my own personal library) and editing to make a unique adaptation of the trailer,
Batman Beyond Trailer
In my first year at AIT, during my Interactive Media course: I had an assessment for Shooting and Editing where I had to design a film trailer. I was happy with what I did for the editing, however upon revision I found that the sound could use a lot of work. So using the knowledge I have now, I completely revised the audio, recording new voice lines, fixing the music quality and bringing in sound effects where with the first adaptation, there were none. Now I have made a version that I can look back on and feel proud about: both for the editing and the sound.
Geckoo Artist
Geckoo Artist, tells the story of a little gecko wanting to become a tattoo artist after witnessing the final result of a tattoo. I recorded the voice of the narrator myself and designed the audio track from scratch using sound effects, ambience and music from my own sound collection. Overall I am happy with how it turned out and was very happy to work on this project.
Soundscapes
The second assessment of my Sound Design class: this task was to construct a piece of sound that was able to tell a story of a specific genre (consisting of Action, Comedy, Horror and Drama) without any video. The ones that I had chosen to do for this task were Horror, Drama and Action and overall I am very proud of what I managed to convey without the aid of video.

About Me
Hello! Welcome to my website. My name is Christian Bourke, also known as Crispy Tunes: a Sound Designer and Animator who loves both the creepy and the fun.
I am a sound designer and animator who attended the Academy of Interactive Technology who graduated with a Bachelor of 2D Animation and a Diploma of Interactive Media. I currently have a Diploma of Interactive Media while also working on a Bachelor of 2D Animation. I also finished Year 12 at St Patrick's College and even was awarded with the St Vincent de Paul Tertiary Education Sponsorship Award in 2021.I enjoy making art (whether digital art or sound) and both going to see films and playing games with my friends between assignments and projects. But my biggest hobby by far is my Warhammer collection: each figure I own being meticulously painted for sometimes hours by my own hands. I give each one my full attention and ability while painting and love every single one in my collection.I am quite fond of making some creepy content, having been making it ever since Studio Arts back in Year 12. However I am also incredibly flexible to the point of even being able to do 'cute' with one of my latest projects: Geckoo Artist. No matter what I am tasked with making, I will always give it 110% to get out the best possible result.
Experience
Office PlaceRole: Lead Sound Designer, Storyboard Artist, Animator and Casting Director
During this project it was my responsibility to make sure everything in the sound area is in tip top shape. From sound effects to ambience, everything in the technical side of this project's sound was my responsibility.
I was also in charge of seeking out voice actors for our cast: using a combination of Casting Call Club, Starnow, Fiverr and Personal Connections. I wrote up the casting call, listened to 339 different auditions and ruled the selection down to the 3 lucky few that were able to join our cast.
Fortress InternshipRole: Sound Designer and Assisting Storyboard Artist
During this project, I worked alongside 3 other students from my Uni to begin the pre-production process of an animated adaptation of a comic sold by Fortress called Dream of Arcturus. I worked closely alongside another student to develop a storyboard and render out a finished animatic of one scene from the comic: When the main character Vela communicates with the sentient sun Arcturus.
